Facts of Life:

- Every single life has permanent death, when you die you start a new life somewhere else with almost nothing

- You grow very attached to everything you touch in each life, knowing that it can be lost with one mistake

- Each item, vehicle, weapon, bullet, tool, relationship, and property is vital to be able to survive in the criminal underworld

- Your cars require fuel to operate, and you cannot just grab any parked or driven car with no tool since their doors are locked

- You can only carry so many items on you, vehicles have glove box and trunk storage, and you can place any item physically anywhere you want

- One in game day is two hours, so bad weather and night time lasts a long time, and requires a hotel or owned property to sleep through

- Your stress levels grow during chases and gunfights, so you need to recharge with downtime or your gun handling will suffer

- You have places to go that mean something to you, like your favourite hotel room, ATM, gas station, store, payphone, or safe location for downtime

Early Game:

- Hunting for items on your own to bring to faction members, so you can gain rep with them

- Stacking any cash you can find to buy the new things you're unlocking from the faction

- Eventually you unlock an interaction to get a living member's contact

Mid Game:

- Doing collaborative criminal jobs with the contact you unlocked to get closer to them

- As you gain more rep with this contact you gain unique services to request from them

- You are stacking good money and feeling more powerful

Late Game:

- You seek to build out criminal infrastructure

- Purchased properties can be filled with drug production supplies you acquire

- Your product feeds into dealers you hired from your connections

Immediate Crime Consequences:

- Witnesses to crimes pass on your face, outfit, and vehicle descriptions to the police, as well as gangs if the crime relates to them

- You have to change all those things after you get away, otherwise cops/enemies in the world will recognize you and retaliate

Long Term Emergent Consequences:

- Every physical interaction you have in the world without gloves leaves a fingerprint which can later be found by cop/gang investigators

- Your enemies whether detectives or gang members are alive and moving in the world at all times whether close to you or not

- The cops and gangs will learn your patterns of behaviour and use them to execute retaliation intelligently

Open World Crimes:

- Rob civilians in public

- Break into cash register

- Hack an ATM with a device

- Break into a civilian house

- Lock pick any vehicle

- Break into a civilian vehicle trunk

- Break open a store's safe

- Kill and loot a faction member

- Break into a faction stash house

- Hack into a high end car

- Hack open a bank vault with a hostage

- Kill and loot a faction dealer

- Hack into a faction garage

- Hijack a vehicle carrying valuable cargo

- Hack into a faction warehouse

Contact Activities:

- Stay getaway driver while they rob a cash register, ATM, or store safe

- Wait in the car while watching them rob or assassinate and loot a person

- Drive a stolen vehicle carrying loot while they drive the car you arrived in behind you on the way to the drop off

- Go with them to hack into a high end vehicle and escape the cops on the way to the drop off

- Bring them to guard the outside of a property while you break into it for the loot inside

- Go to a faction clubhouse or public night club to smoke, dance, gamble, or watch strippers with them

- Bring them along with a hostage so they can protect you while you hack into the vault for the cash stacks inside

What Becomes Possible:

- Buy necessary crime related items and tools from any faction member, unlocking more as you gain rep with the faction

- Unlock the contact info of a living faction member you can work with and get closer to which unlocks new benefits over time

- Purchase unique items that your contact has acquired through their real activity with or without you

- Get your contact to send you civilian buyers for your product

- Ask your contact to get a buyer for a vehicle you have

- Purchase houses, garages, and warehouses from your contact

- Get your contact to connect you with a dealer to sell your product

- Ask your contact for information on a specific faction or a member of it
